Step1 Lead-in
1) Enjoy a song “animals, animals are everywhere”
2) Enjoy a story“Where is my Mom?”
Step 2 Presentation
1) Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions:
a. What are the pandas doing?
b. What do they like?
2) Listen to the dialogue for the second time and answer the questions:
a. What’s the elephant doing?
b. What is the little monkey doing?
3) Students try to find the common rules of the following sentences:
The pandas are eating lunch.
The elephant is drinking water.
The little monkey is playing with its mother.
Then, students learn a micro-course about the present continuous tense.
