Teaching aims:
1. The students can read the email by using the right pronunciation and intonation.
2. The students can find what can Robin do and what can’t Robin do according to the text.
3. The students are able to write down three sentences to describe themselves.
4. The students are able to write an email to Robin according to the text.
Teaching key points:
The students are able to write down three sentences to describe themselves and they can write an email to Robin by themselves.
Teaching difficult points:
The students can read the email by using the right pronunciation and they can write an email to Robin by themselves.

Teaching Steps
Step One: Warm-up
1. Greeting
2. Play a game: Sharp Eyes
Step Two: Lead-in
1. Let’s sing a song: What can you do?
2. The teacher ask students question: What can you do?
3. The students ask the teacher: What can you do?  
4. The teacher answer: I can send an email.
Step Three: Presentation
1. Teach new phrase: send an email.
2. Question: Robin is unhappy and why?
3. Listen the tape and answer:
 Why Robin is unhappy?
 What’s Robin like?
4. Read by yourself and underline the answers of these questions:
 What can Robin do?
 What can’t Robin do?
5.Task: Tick or cross.
6. Let’s imitate.
7. About Robin.(Sum up some information about Robin in this email)
8. Write down three sentences about yourself.
Step Four: Consolidation
1. Help the teacher. (Sum up how to write an email to Robin together)
2. Write an email to Robin by yourself.
Step Five: Emotional education
Step Six: Homework
1. Listen to the tape and read after it.
